Toucan Snooze Button - How Does It Work?

Our latest Toucan cameras released a new feature earlier this year called "snooze" to help manage which notifications and recordings you want to receive. If you're working on your car in the driveway with a wireless outdoor security camera at the top of your garage, you probably don't want to receive every notification and recording of you in front of the camera. To help maintain your notifications, we have introduced the "snooze" feature!

So what is “Snooze” on your Wireless Video Doorbell and Wireless Outdoor Camera and what does it do?

The snooze features allow the camera to temporarily turns off the motion sensor whenever you please. The camera will stay online, you can stream the video feed on the camera at any time, but it’s not going to record anything. No push notifications, no recording. For when you're with your kids in the front or yard that is in front of the camera, you can use the snooze to avoid the camera constantly activating to save you from a rush of notifications and battery drainage.

There are two ways you can use the Snooze feature:

- For Free users, you can Snooze the camera for 1 to 5 hours at a time using the Snooze button on the Dashboard.

- For Pro users, you can use the aforementioned Snooze Button, but you can also set schedules so that the camera goes into Snooze mode automatically on schedule.
